"Is is better to have had and lost than not having at at". This is the question. Sometimes I feel like it would be so much easier to give up. Just to die, and not have to deal with the weight of the present. Then, hours later I move on. Why do we feel so much emotion? I guess one could ask if what was had and then lost, if it is really "lost". I wonder what I would think about this question in a time of depression. In a time of joy. I just wonder.
you have to put the "weight" in perspective. how does your weight compare to the weight on the shoulders of others? are you willing to bear some of that weight for them in the future?
ReplyDeleteIn truth that doesn't make the situation any better. In theory/on paper it would work, yet it only makes me feel worse because I'm being a big baby.
ReplyDeleteExactly, I feel this way too, and then when I look back, I see how I was so stupid and self absorbed, which leads me to apologize to the ones I constantly complain to. Though, this loses meaning, as this process is constantly cycling throughout my life.
